Matt Mueller is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's from Texas State University and over a decade at the UT-Austin Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders. He specializes in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and ADHD using evidence-based modalities: CBT, ERP, ACT, and somatic work.
The problem: none of that existed online. No website. No Google Business Profile. No way for a potential client to find him, vet his credentials, understand his approach, or book an appointment without already knowing his name and phone number.
For a therapist, especially one in a field where people often search in crisis, being invisible online means the people who need you most can't find you.
A therapist who has personally recovered from an anxiety disorder, with active research credentials and 11+ years of clinical experience. And nobody searching “anxiety therapist Austin” would ever know he existed.
Built the entire digital front door.
The website needed to do more than exist. It needed to convert anxious visitors into booked sessions. That meant clear specialties, transparent pricing, real peer endorsements, and a frictionless path to booking. Every section was built with the end user's mental state in mind.
Custom Website
Full single-page site with sections for specialties, approach, office photos, insurance, endorsements, and contact. Designed to build trust and convert visitors in crisis.
Client Intake Form
Custom contact form with condition-specific dropdown, name, email, and optional message. Routes submissions directly to Matt's inbox.
Email System Setup
Built the email infrastructure to handle form submissions, autoresponders, and client communication flow.
Google Indexing
Submitted the site to Google Search Console, configured sitemap and meta tags, and ensured the site was discoverable for relevant search terms.
Business Visibility Consulting
Advised on directory presence, Psychology Today profile optimization, and Headway integration for insurance processing and online booking.
Google Business Profile
Currently in progress. Setting up and optimizing GBP to own local search for therapy-related queries in the Austin area.
Video Integration
Built a video player section for Matt's personal story video. Lets potential clients see and hear the person before they book.
Peer Endorsement Section
Designed a colleague endorsement system with photos, credentials, and quotes from fellow clinicians. More credible than anonymous reviews.

The intake form is routing submissions. The email system is running. The digital front door is open.
