Andrew and Peter Pevoto run Otto Design + Build, a custom and spec home builder operating in both Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth. The name comes from their grandfather, Johnnie Otto Kveton, who taught them how to build on his land in Comfort, TX back in 2001. The standard he set is the one they still build to.
The problem wasn't the product. It was everything around it. No professional website. No Google Business Profile. No system for capturing leads, sending proposals, or following up with prospects. They were getting work through referrals and word-of-mouth, which is great until the referral pipeline slows down and there's nothing behind it.
